On 12 December, the University of Applied Sciences Ulm invited to an information event and a lecture series about sustainability as part of the project “Danube Universities”.
In the first part ,Mag Dr. Susanne Schidler of the University of Applied Science Technikum Vienna gave an introduction to sustainability .The institute building ENERGYbase, as a showpiece of modern urban architecture, and the master’s degree program “Urban Renewable energy systems” were just as well subjects as the conflicts of aims in sustainability.
Furthermore Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Gunter Lindemann of Steinbeis-Transferzentrum Energietechnik and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gerhard Mengedoht of the University of Applied Sciences Ulm presented the realization and operation of large passive houses on the example EnerGon Ulm.
